Bodacious Bouncin Beat

Boing boing boing!
Oh, hallo there!  Tis been two months since I've given you all a tasty morsel of recent events.
First, a few items of importance:
*A reminder to those collecting pull tabs to help me with a service project for the Ronald McDonald house charity: please bring them to my house by Thursday March 18th or mail them so I receive them that same day, Thursday March 18th.  Thank you so much!  P.S. My class is in a competition with the second level of our program so if that motivates you more, great.  Sill, please help out for the children and their families~that's what I care most about!  No, my house is not yet flooded with pull tabs, not even a small flower-pot...so I expect to be getting some huge boxes, bags, etc this week!  Thank you!
*Please accept multiple private blog invitations from me as I do have more than one blog that I have made private.

Other than that this is what we've been doing:
*I've been learning to give injections and draw blood in my Medical Assisting Clinicals.  The first day we practiced on fruit and then on each other!  I was panicking and ready to bolt from the room and cry in a corner while I watched my classmates bravely take turns doing their first injections.  After over an hour of this I had psyched myself out to the point that I was sure I was going to pee my pants so I went to the ladies room.  I tried to pep myself up and when I returned to the room and someone claimed dibbs on going next, I realized that I was no longer ancy to avoid the experience or get it over with, rather I was eager to do it!

Clint is pestering me to come to bed....Sorry!

To be continued...

Now, to fill you in on the scrumptious excitement of the last two months...

Venipuncture/Injections/Butterfly/Vital Signs--malfunction of BP equipment

I mentioned back in December in a letter to Santa our hope that he would bring us a kitten for Christmas.  Ahem, Santa, we were very disappointed that you didn't bring us a cute fluffy furball...but we didn't give up.  We searched with determination for two months and finally found not one, but two kittens to adopt for free in Saint Anthony!  Both are girls and one is a week older than the other--they are from two separate litters.  The mothers tend to both litters, although they only nurse their own babies.  All eleven kittens get along and play with each other as one happy family.  The older kitten is tortoiseshell colored and the baby 'sister' is a calico.  We are so excited!

Pretty Pretty Princess

On Saturday night Sarah went over to Kate Mower's house. She does awesome photography and was doing a photo shoot for Kendra Nielson who makes custom vintage accessories.  Both of these talented ladies are in our ward.
This is a photo of my pretty pretty princess from the shoot!

Thanks Kate and Kendra for this photo of the most gorgeous lady whom I love!
