In case you haven't noticed...which I'm sure you have. I haven't really felt like blogging too much lately nor have I had the presence of mind to do so when I've had time. Clint and I both have the daunting task of getting caught up with school. We still aren't in a routine for the semester since me being sick and Clint getting a new job totally threw off what we started out doing. So trust me, there's plenty of goings on we could tell you about...the stress of it all combined with a lack of reader interest---we turn to less energy required tasks...like sleep. Anyway, if we get back on track like we hope to during the long weekend, I'll try to post more. I'd appreciate your thoughts or some questions fueled by your curiosity to motivate the flow of posts.
TTFN and ta ta for now!

For Val with love
One of my most favorite quotes ever...beautiful and eloquent and so TRUE!
"When God wants a great work done in the world or a great wrong righted, he goes about it in a very unusual way. He doesn’t stir up his earthquakes or send forth his thunderbolts. Instead, he has a helpless baby born, perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother’s heart, and she puts it into the baby’s mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and the thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies."
E. T. Sullivan
(quoted in "These, Our Little Ones" by President Hinckley 2007 December Ensign, 4-9)
***No, I am not pregnant but my sister in law is and I'm so happy for her!

Dia de Madre Feliz!
Snatched this from my friend's blog...hope she doesn't mind...;p
For all the mom's who are part of my life and who have mothered me and loved me through it all:

I have a lot of homework and took an overly long nap today so I don't have much time to write.
We do have one piece of news to share that hopefully Clint will get some time and blog more about it...anyway, he's got a new job and he loves it! No more 4:30 am alarm clock for him! Only one week in but this is definitely amazing for him and us!
P.S. I had to look up Happy Mother's Day in Espanol...I hardly remember anything from the 3 years I took of it spanning junior high and high school. ;p
