Is Anybody Out There?

My apologies for having neglected our blog so much.  It's one of my goals for this break to update it properly.

For now a brief update:

Clint is gone till August 8th on tour with BYU-I's Dance Alliance team to operate lights and sound for their performances.  I am very lonely though I've spent much of the time sleeping, cleaning, and watching lovely movies (ie The Young Victoria--I'm a romantic soul and I love everything about language from Jane Austen Novels/the 1800s in England and Great Britain).  Friday evening I reveled in the performance of Marvin Goldstein and his featured guests, Vanessa Joy and David Peck who are both talented vocalists.  Dr. Peck teaches at BYU-I and he is friends with Goldstein.  M.G. is a regular Victor Borge--American Jewish Mormon version of him I guess.

My, my--it's 4:30am!  I have gone back to my night owl ways this week--that's something else I am intent on changing over the next couple months--I feel I need and want to have a set sleep schedule.  I am not a morning person but I'd like the occasion where I welcome the morning to be more often and to more easily dissuade myself from sleeping in past 9am.
Sigh...I almost forgot...my birthday was July 19th.  I'm now 23 years of age.  Though that day nor the reality of it's significance are not quite as I had hoped or imagined them to be, I am finding it in myself to stay the course.  As the French say, C'est La Vie.  And in Spain, Que Sera, Sera... Finito Italiano~Buona Notte!

FYI Blurb

In case you haven't noticed...which I'm sure you have.  I haven't really felt like blogging too much lately nor have I had the presence of mind to do so when I've had time.  Clint and I both have the daunting task of getting caught up with school.  We still aren't in a routine for the semester since me being sick and Clint getting a new job totally threw off what we started out doing.  So trust me, there's plenty of goings on we could tell you about...the stress of it all combined with a lack of reader interest---we turn to less energy required tasks...like sleep.  Anyway, if we get back on track like we hope to during the long weekend, I'll try to post more.  I'd appreciate your thoughts or some questions fueled by your curiosity to motivate the flow of posts.
TTFN and ta ta for now!

For Val with love

One of my most favorite quotes ever...beautiful and eloquent and so TRUE!
"When God wants a great work done in the world or a great wrong righted, he goes about it in a very unusual way. He doesn’t stir up his earthquakes or send forth his thunderbolts. Instead, he has a helpless baby born, perhaps in a simple home and of some obscure mother. And then God puts the idea into the mother’s heart, and she puts it into the baby’s mind. And then God waits. The greatest forces in the world are not the earthquakes and the thunderbolts. The greatest forces in the world are babies."
E. T. Sullivan
(quoted in "These, Our Little Ones" by President Hinckley 2007 December Ensign, 4-9)

***No, I am not pregnant but my sister in law is and I'm so happy for her!

Dia de Madre Feliz!

Snatched this from my friend's blog...hope she doesn't mind...;p
For all the mom's who are part of my life and who have mothered me and loved me through it all:

I have a lot of homework and took an overly long nap today so I don't have much time to write.
We do have one piece of news to share that hopefully Clint will get some time and blog more about it...anyway, he's got a new job and he loves it!  No more 4:30 am alarm clock for him!  Only one week in but this is definitely amazing for him and us!

P.S. I had to look up Happy Mother's Day in Espanol...I hardly remember anything from the 3 years I took of it spanning junior high and high school. ;p

A little help please?!

I am looking for a job and hoping one of you or someone you know can refer me to work at home for Jet Blue Airlines Call Center.

If so please let me know ASAP!

Also, I still have Mary Kay inventory to liquidate as quickly as possible  Everything I had last year is 25% off.  I made one final order to stock up on some things for myself till I jump back into the business.  I have a couple extra bottles of eye makeup remover from that order available at normal retail price.  If you need product shipped to you, let me know so I can arrange that with you.  Thanks so much to those of you who have supported me in this adventure : D
